Chantelle lost her heart in the winelands while studying in Paarl so didn’t think twice when the opportunity came to work in Franschhoek. Her sweet tooth came from a very young age, and while doing what you love it hardly seems like work. She is at her happiest in the kitchen trying out new things and experimenting with flavours to impress the boss with. He has a love for flavours and is always looking for different wines, beers and food to experience. He tries to balance the wine-list with items guests would recognise and items off the beaten track. Due to his constant search our wine-list changes on a whim. Starting out as a runner at another top Franschhoek restaurant and working her way to assistant manager in all of two weeks, Carmen is a go getter of the highest calibre. She thrives on the rush of a busy restaurant and knowing that her guests are left entirely satisfied.
